Jason Talevski
After graduating from La Trobe University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Public Health), Jason worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at Monash University. His research focused on healthy ageing, specifically falls and fracture prevention and musculoskeletal health. In 2016, he was appointed as the database manager of an international clinical registry - the Prostate Cancer Outcomes Registry Australia and New Zealand (PCOR-ANZ). Jason has worked with researchers in the UK, the US and the Netherlands; been published in high-ranking international journals; and presented at multiple international conferences. In 2018, he received a NHMRC Postgraduate Scholarship and began his Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Melbourne. His PhD project aims to develop health care pathways that optimize recovery of quality of life and physical function following fragility fracture in older people.
